David and Carol Vain have been distributors of AMSOIL products since 2003 while on active duty in the U.S. Navy. David has 25 years as an Aviation Machinist Mate (aviation mechanic,) a Naval Aircrewman/Crew Chief (CH/MH/RH53), Load Master (C130), LSE instructor and Master Training Specialist (MTS.) Even though AMSOIL does not make an aviation oil, lubrication is paramount for optimum engine cooling and performance – up to 33% in some cases.
Carol has over 20 years in the U.S. Navy as human resources expert and systems instructor. Customer service is the foundation of why a business is successful and stays in business; between David’s product knowledge and Carol’s consummate customer service, we have you covered.
We started building our business in New Orleans while at David’s last duty station prior to retiring from the Navy in 2007 and Carol’s retiring in 2010. Hard work and dedication moved his status from an AMSOIL dealer to Regency Direct Jobber within 3 years providing our customers with a knowledgeable product representative and attentive customer service.
We moved back to Texas in 2010 after Carol (yay) retired and lived outside of Austin until we sold our home January 2017 and moved into Betty, a 2006 Fleetwood American Eagle traveling the U.S., Mexico and home is where we park it. Our home base is Galveston, Texas.
